The Black Wall

The ghosts in the partition wear the same familiar face

A history of displacement, struggle, and fierce grace.

From the northern bogs to the southern swamp, the fire remains true

The spirit of the nomadic hearth that burns defiant through.

We inherited the wildness, the refusal to submit

The stubborn, beautiful knowledge of the dark, eternal pit.

THE WALL IS BUILT OF SILENCE, BUT WE ARE THE HAMMER THAT REPLIES

THE VOICE OF EVERY WOUND THAT REFUSES TO COMPROMISE.

THE BLOOD IS NOT THICKER THAN THE WATER WE HAVE FOUGHT AND BLED

WE ARE THE ANCIENT TRUTH THAT THE SYSTEM LEFT FOR DEAD.

The system relies on mute consent, the fiction of the calm

But the quiet has been traded for the sound of a raised, powerful arm.

They trade their oaths for profit, they trade their conscience for a fee

But the lineage of the stubborn will always remain free.
