Fixed Earth and Water

They say I look right through the skin and see the bone

A piercing gaze that sits upon a quiet throne

I don't just walk into a room I shift the air

A heavy presence that the weak ones can't repair

I read the secrets that they hide behind the teeth

I see the rot that's burying itself beneath

I am the detective of the damage and the sin

I know exactly where the darkest parts begin

But there's a bull inside the pasture of the mind

A stubborn creature that the world has tried to bind

I plant my feet inside the Mississippi clay

And I refuse to move or look the other way

I need the sensory I need the solid ground

I need the comfort of the heavy low-end sound

The vapor wraps around me like a velvet coat

Soothing the scream that's living deep inside the throat

I analyze the system till the pieces fall apart

A surgeon cutting through the artificial heart

I see the flaw in every promise they designed

The perfectionism running wild and undefined

I'm not a saint I'm not a savior in the light

I'm just the one who isn't scared of the night

I take the broken things and make them function new

Doing the dirty work that they refused to do

The transformation happens in the quiet dark

I take the trauma and I turn it to a spark

The power rising from the bottom of the well

I built a heaven in the middle of the hell

I am the fixed earth and I am the fixed water

The southern sludge's favorite resurrected daughter

I keep the secrets and I keep the battery charged

My spirit heavy and my territory enlarged

I'm grounding down

I'm rising up

I'm pouring oil inside the cup

Unmovable

Unshakable

Yeah
