The Barricade Hymn
The mandate is simple, the equation is clean:
Adequate life is not a privilege, it is the fundamental human scene.
They parcel out the oxygen, they privatize the need
Ignoring the basic promise sown in the original seed.
We build the barricade on common decency, you see
The defense of one becomes the freedom of the three.
This is not a system of charity, but of shared, invested worth
The fundamental right to stand upon the solid earth.
The infrastructure of cruelty demands a constant tax
But the soul's own constitution refuses to turn its back.
We claim the means, we claim the methods, we reclaim the light
The moral obligation to make the broken right.
